REGISTER DESCRIPTION / TERMS OF USE

Jet-Tekno only processes personal and contact information for communication, sales, marketing and communication between companies.

Customers

Purpose of processing: Enabling the contacts required by customer service and maintaining the customer relationship.

Justification: Legitimate interest of the controller.

Potential customers and website users

Purpose of processing: Contact requests, newsletter subscriptions and enabling contact required by customer service via the website.

Justification: Legitimate interest of the controller.

Business contacts

Purpose of processing: Provision of Jet-Tekno services, contacts with companies, direct marketing, distance selling, statistics.

Justification: Legitimate interest of the controller.

  1. INFORMATION TO BE STORED IN THE REGISTER

The register can store e.g. the following personal data:

  • Name
  • Title/role
  • Telephone number
  • Email address
  • IP-address

Personal information is used in the provision of our service, e.g. for the following purposes:

  • Information to customers
  • Targeted marketing for customers in the service
  • Customer relationship management
  • Customer relationship information exchange
  • Distance selling
  • Direct marketing
  • Statistics and analysis of sales measures taken
  1. DURATION OF PROCESSING

Personal data will be processed for as long as is necessary for transactions with the customer or customer service. Thereafter, the processing of the data is determined by whether the retention of the data is subject to a retention obligation under a law other than data protection law.

Company contact information is processed and retained until it is found to be out of date or incorrect, after which it is either updated or deleted.

Jet-Tekno enters the information in the register as it is received from the registrant himself or from the registers acting as the data source.

Registrant can unsubscribe from marketing register at any time via the unsubscribe link in the emails. Jet-Tekno deletes unnecessary personal information every six (6) months.

Right of inspection

You have the right to verify the personal information we hold about you. If you find inaccuracies or omissions in your information, you can ask us to correct or complete the information.

Right to object

You have the right to object to the processing of your personal data at any time if you feel that we have processed your personal data unlawfully or that we do not have the right to process some of your personal data.


Prohibition of direct marketing

You have the right at any time to prohibit us from using your information for direct marketing.

We do online marketing and advertising e.g. Using Google and Facebook services. However, these companies will never receive your personal information from us and it is not a matter of direct marketing. Online marketing is based on cookies collected by your browser, which are described in more detail in the Cookies section.


Right of removal

You have the right to ask us to delete your information if you feel that the processing of some of your information is not necessary for our duties. We will process your request, after which we will either delete your information or give you a valid reason why the information cannot be deleted. Right of appeal

You have the right to complain to the Data Protection Officer if you feel that we are in breach of applicable data protection law when we process your personal data. (Filing a complaint).

Please note, however, that in order to verify your identity when requesting the deletion or verification of your information, we need to verify your identity in order to prevent misuse.

  1. REGULAR SOURCES OF INFORMATION

The information of potential customers is obtained with his or her consent in connection with a website visit or other personal or digital interaction. We also collect personal information from the data subjects themselves and from the registrar's systems in connection with the use and provision of services.

In addition, personal data may be collected and updated from the registers of partners and customers, the Finnish Customer Data Register and other similar public or private registers and data sources.

  1. DISCLOSURE OF INFORMATION

Jet-Tekno provides corporate contact information to its customers for meetings and agreements between companies, e.g. in the form of contact lists and calendar invitations. Ownership of the data is not transferred from the controller to a third party, but the third party has the right to use the data to create and accumulate its own register and to carry out communications related to its business.

We have ensured that all of our service providers comply with data protection laws. We regularly use the following service providers:

  • Google (SCC)
  • Facebook (SCC)
  • Microsoft (SCC)
  1. TRANSFER OF DATA OUTSIDE THE EU

Whenever possible, we have chosen servers or data centers located in Europe to store your data.

Some of the above service providers may offer their services or back up their services outside the EU / EEA to the United States.

The data is backed up so that your data is safe even in situations where the service is interrupted, access is denied, or the service provider has technical problems with the servers or network connections. Standard Contract Clause (SCC) practices are applied with service providers outside the EU / EEA, in addition to which we always assess the security risks related to the processing of personal data on a case-by-case basis.

  1. PRINCIPLES OF PROTECTION OF THE REGISTER

The proper processing of your personal information is important to us and we want to comply with the renewed security legislation. We use the following safeguards to ensure the security of your information.

  • Access to our systems requires the entry of a username and password. The systems are protected by firewalls and other technical means.
  • The data contained in the register stored in our systems can be accessed and used only by the employees of the registrar who, due to their work duties, have a need to access the data.
  • The use of the registers is protected by user-specific IDs, passwords and access rights.
  • The registries are located in cloud services and physically in premises to which access has been denied to unauthorized persons.
  • The information contained in the registers is located in locked and guarded premises.
  • The registers are regularly backed up.
  1. COOKIES

The Jet-Tekno website uses cookies. Our website sends a cookie to your browser, which is a small text file that is stored on your computer's hard drive. There are both temporary session-specific cookies that your browser deletes when you close your Internet browser, and persistent cookies that are stored on your computer's hard drive. Cookies allow us to identify your browser and use the information we receive to, for example, count visitors to our site and analyze the use of our site, such as statistical tracking, and to provide you with our services and products based on what you have previously browsed. Cookies allow us to view and track the interests of our users and thus develop our websites, such as data discoverability, etc.

Your internet browser will probably accept cookies automatically, but you can edit your browser settings and disable cookies at any time. If you wish, you can avoid cookies by modifying the settings of the browser you are using and disabling their use. The purpose of cookies is also to prevent the same ads from appearing repeatedly. Some third-party services may also use cookies or web beacons (one pixel in the image file), so you can see your favorite ads when you visit different sites. The information collected through cookies and web beacons does not share any personal information with us or third parties, such as your name or contact information.

The site may also use technology to measure the performance of your ads. To this end, a one-pixel footprint has been placed on our website to collect anonymous information on our website. After receiving anonymous information about a user’s visits to the XYZ website and other websites, advertisers can design ads for products and services that may be of interest to the user.
